Privacy policy

Cohesyn Solutions (“Cohesyn”, “we”, “us”) is a brand marketing studio for B2B companies in India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through cohesyn.solutions and our services, including our LinkedIn integration, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

• Enquiries. When you contact us by form or email: your name, email address, company and the message you send.
• Free demo. When you try our demo: your email address (verified with a one-time code) and, if you choose to, your company website address, which our AI reads to prepare a brand preview.
• Client and team accounts. For people with a Cohesyn login: name, email address and login credentials (passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider).
• LinkedIn data. When a client authorises Cohesyn through LinkedIn, we receive the data that client approves on LinkedIn’s consent screen, such as basic profile details (name, profile photo, email), the LinkedIn Pages they administer, and post and page analytics (impressions, reach, engagement, follower counts).
• Facebook, Instagram and YouTube data. When a client connects these accounts, we receive the Pages, Instagram business accounts or channels they approve, and the post and audience insights needed to publish and report for them.
• Technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

2. How we use it

• To reply to enquiries and provide the services you engage us for.
• To create, schedule and publish content to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, only on behalf of clients who have authorised us and only with their approval.
• To prepare performance reports for the client whose page, profile or channel the data relates to.
• To prepare a one-time brand preview for demo visitors who submit their website.
• To secure our systems, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, use platform data for advertising, or share one client’s data with another client. We use platform data only in line with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, Meta Platform Terms and YouTube API Services Terms.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run our services, and they process data only on our instructions:

• Vercel (website hosting)
• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Resend (transactional email, such as password resets and demo codes)
• OpenAI and Google (AI models that help research and draft content; they do not use our data to train their models)
• LinkedIn, Meta and Google/YouTube (to publish content and retrieve analytics you have authorised)

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client data for the length of the engagement plus any period required by law. Social platform access tokens and data are deleted when a client revokes access or the engagement ends, and within 30 days of a deletion request. Demo records are kept to prevent repeat demos and are deleted on request.

5. Your rights and data deletion

Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw consent you have given.

You can revoke Cohesyn’s access at any time: on LinkedIn under Data privacy → Permitted services, on Facebook under Settings → Business integrations, and on Google under Third-party connections. To have your data deleted, email us at the address below from the account’s email address; we will confirm deletion within 30 days.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to client data is limited to authorised team members, and we use reputable providers with industry-standard security controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

7. Cookies

Our marketing site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our login and products pages use essential cookies only, to keep you signed in across Cohesyn services.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
